MAC Company Outside Sales Representative
Reports to: CEO
Join the MAC Company team as an Outside Sales Representative, reporting directly to the CEO. In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in driving sales growth for MAC Company products. Responsibilities include establishing, developing, and refining our dealer network, assisting dealers with promoting MAC Company products, closing sales deals, and driving retail sales through various promotional activities and marketing efforts. Your efforts will contribute to maximizing sales opportunities, ensuring customer satisfaction, and identifying new avenues for business growth.
Responsibilities :
- Understand MAC Company products, their advantages over competitive products and clearly and concisely explain these advantages to potential dealers and end users
- Travel to prospective and existing dealers and customers to develop and maintain strong positive business relationships
- Work with Senior management to determine desired Dealer Geographic locations
- Research potential Dealers, and with management’s prior approval, establish Dealers
- Establish whole goods sales targets with dealers with input from MAC management
- With Dealer and MAC Management determine appropriate MAC product stocking needs
- Collaborate with dealer management to maintain appropriate MAC Company product displays and marketing collateral at dealership including signage, sales literature visibility etc.
- Work with Dealer and MAC Management to support Dealer marketing efforts including local trade shows, Dealer events such as open houses, individual and group demonstrations etc.
- Develop, in collaboration with Dealer and MAC Company management, marketing strategies to target specific significant market opportunities as needed – geographic, demographic, etc.
- Maintain records of all sales leads and customer accounts
- Follow industry trends to identify new sales opportunities
- Ensure that Dealer sales, service and parts personnel are trained on MAC products
- With MAC Company prior approval, attend closely related industry conferences, trade shows
- Submit completed accurate, fully detailed sales orders in a timely manner
- Generate and submit sales and activity reports as required by MAC Management
- Protect MAC Company resources and confidential MAC Company information
Qualifications:
- Self – starter, willing to work independently, strong work ethic
- Competitive nature with strong interpersonal skills, detail oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good Microsoft office proficiency
- 4 Year post-secondary degree preferred
- Able to travel up to 80% of the time
- Able to lift/carry moderate weight occasionally
- Valid driver’s license and able to obtain DOT medical card
- Will train qualified candidate
