Macias Eye Medical is seeking an Ophthalmology/Optometry Front Desk Receptionist for our Riverside, CA office. We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and hardworking individual to join our team as our Front Desk Receptionist. Front Desk position in busy medical/surgical practice needs outgoing, intelligent, and professional individual. This office is very fast-paced, We are a patient-focused, so we place a premium on excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Skills and Qualifications:

Fluency in Spanish a must

Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail and accuracy

Must have strong communication skills with good grammar

Must have 2 year ophthalmology office experience

MUST have experience with INSURANCE VERIFICATION/AUTHORIZATIONS

Ability to juggle shifting priorities and be able to work under pressure

Must be comfortable working independently with minimal direction, as well as in teams

Duties include but not limited to:

• Answer incoming calls professionally, and interact with patients.

• Maintain surgical/appointment schedule for surgeon.

• Communicate with patients about: surgery and office services, financial requirements, insurance requirements and surgical consents

• Providing administrative support for doctors when needed

• Obtaining insurance authorizations/verifications
