    Position Overview

    The Account Executive is responsible for prospecting and closing new and cross-sale businesses in an assigned region, focusing on mid-market accounts ranging up to $1B in annual revenue. You will utilize a consultative sales approach to map MAD Security service offerings to the clients’ needs.

    Primary Duties and Essential Functions

    • Quickly develop situational fluency in MAD Security offerings and security concepts.
    • Prospect, sell, and close business into Mid-Market accounts in assigned region.
    • Ability to manage the sales process with tight control over each stage.
    • Be a strong sales "hunter,” and maintain and foster longstanding client relationships.
    • Effectively map MAD Security solutions to meet prospect’s needs.
    • Develop and follow account plans for key strategic accounts.
    • Manage pipeline and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure the seller is well-positioned for consistent and long-term success.

    Required Qualifications

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in direct sales/account management in technology, information security, or managed service industry.
    • Strong technical acumen (information security and technology, technology services, networking).
    • Significant Business-to-Business Sales experience via telephone.
    • Bachelor’s Degree or higher (Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems) preferred.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works onsite in an office setting. This position is exclusively located in Huntsville, Alabama.
