Each of our creamy dips, dressings and juices contains fresh produce ingredients sourced directly from independent farmers who are featured on our labels. All of our products are 100% plant-based, clean label, Non-GMO Project verified and allergen free. Incorporated as a B Corp, we take care to consider all of the stakeholders in our ecosystem who are impacted by our food choices --- farmers who grow fruits and vegetables, our team members, grocery stores who choose to provide more plant-based offerings via private label programs, and customers who are looking for plant-based alternatives.

     

    We are seeking a sales + marketing assistant who is passionate, organized, action-oriented, and seeking the opportunity to grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The sales + marketing assistant works on a diverse range of projects, including sales assistance, local sales calls, customer service, trade shows, managing the brand ambassador team, small design projects and overseeing design, and general assistance to the Company’s sales leaders. The role suits someone competent with multi-tasking, resolving competing priorities, and meeting project deadlines. This position will report to the Company’s Co-Founder and President and presents opportunities for advancement within a growing company.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist the sales team in executing activities essential for the sales’ department’s success - includes completing account paperwork and maintaining collateral for company marketing purposes.
    • Making local sales calls to independent stores, travel limited to the Midwest except in the case of trade shows 1-3x per year.
    • Coordinate and attend trade shows and local events, includes securing all collateral, sending samples, etc.
    • Source affordable printing and production equipment (both outsourced and internal equipment) to bring all marketing materials to life (includes outside printers, printers for bags, boxes, etc)
    • Manage and provide support for the company’s brand ambassador team; includes interfacing with contracted brand ambassadors, scheduling, creating and maintaining marketing collateral, planning and attending weekly meetings, and oversight of team.
    • Do minor design work and work with more senior designers to coordinate label and sample printing process
    • Create social media calendar and execute postings and follower feedback

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, public relations, communications, media, graphic design, or related field

    • Two (2) years of prior work experience having demonstrated leadership potential in project management and sales/marketing

    • Adobe Illustrator and other design capabilities is a major plus

    • Existing understanding of how to work and manage Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google, Twitter, blogs, etc.

    • Exceptional verbal and written skills

    • Must be detail-oriented with superior project management skills.

    • Must have a car and be willing to drive to perform various sales and assistant activities.

    • This is a full-time job with responsibilities at both our Carol Stream facility and city offices.
