Required / Desired Knowledge, Experiences and Skills:
5+ years of maintenance person, repair or property management experience
Ability to work independently or on a team
Responsible for building safety & maintenance, including small repairs, plumbing and carpentry as well as working with outside vendors.
This position operates in an agency Residential Facility and requires entry into resident apartments and mechanical rooms.
The position utilizes routine power tools
The position requires the ability to trouble shoot problems, prioritize tasks, and the ability to deliver a completed project on time and on budget
Implement predefined work order in a reliable and timely manner. Specific requirements will be provided in advance for each job.
Field inspect all construction jobs/trades at the beginning and end of each project to ensure to go over any special requests or concerns and ensure high quality construction and cleanup
The Ideal Candidate would have the Following Qualities:
Reputation for being punctual, reliable, and high quality workmanship.
Access to your own tools (large equipment is provided)
Able to pass a standard background check
Ability to work and or be on call nights and weekends as issues arise
Time Commitment: Approximately 40 hours per week, some weekends/nights required
Compensation: Commensurate with experience, supplemental benefits available after 90 days Pay Range in the $23-$28/hr based on experience Company Van provided Health Insurance options available Paid time off plus standard Holidays
