MAINE STRONG PHYSICAL THERAPY PA

Physical Therapist

Saco, ME

Hello! We're looking for a Physical therapist to join our recently opened Saco location. Thanks for your interest! The Maine Strong Balance Center is a growing, innovative, outpatient physical therapy practice.

The patients we work with most commonly include geriatrics (balance difficulties with aging), neurological (MS, PD, TBI, etc) and vestibular populations. We also provide generalized physical therapy to meet any needs in the community. Experience with these populations is not a requirement for application (although of course valued!) as we can provide mentorship.

With this position, you can expect treatments that make sense for everyone involved. Each visit is one-on-one for 40-60 minutes to make sessions productive and rewarding for both clinician and patient. We value a firm work-life balance by providing ample time to do notes each day and focus on customizing work weeks to support personal needs, with most clinicians working 4-day weeks.

The Maine Strong Balance Center is committed to clinical excellence and holistic professional development for all clinicians. We prioritize access to non-clinical opportunities for employees and recognize how important this is. We have strong relationships as a teaching institution (we are a clinical pair with the University of New England and Boston University) and as a result there are continual opportunities to work with students in the clinic and in the classroom. We also have future opportunities for promotion available for those interested in leadership roles. We are continually investing in community programs, expanding the depth and breadth of our clinical programming, and welcome thought leaders to help us build. In sum, we strive to connect employees with opportunities that are professionally meaningful.

Thank you again for your interest and hope to hear from you.
