We have a career opportunity for an experienced full-time Accounting Clerk/Bookkeeper in a highly collaborative team environment that is fast paced. We are looking for someone that is energetic, reliable, and eager to assist. You will be performing data entry, payment of bills, process payroll, reconciliations. If you are not shy talking with clients or independently try to solve a problem on your own within the parameters of the Accounting Clerk/Bookkeeping tasks, this is the position for you.

JOB DUTIES FOR MULTIPLE CLIENTS:

1. Taking ownership and working closely with monthly and quarterly clients
2. Data entry of payroll, invoices, AP into accounting systems
3. Remit payroll taxes, sales & use taxes, income taxes
4. Reconciling and analyzing various accounts
5. Prepare and maintain accounting documents, schedules and records
6. Entering journal entries
7. Preparing financial reports
8. Research, track and resolve accounting or documentation problems

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPREIENCE:

1. Associate degree in accounting with 5 years' experience in bookkeeping or high school degree with 5 years of experience
2. 5 years' experience performing full-cycle bookkeeping, reconciling accounts
3. 5 years' experience with Quickbooks desktop & online
4. Experience with digital tools ie Microsoft 365, Quickbooks, Karbon, Melio

CURRENTLY THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION:

1. Work hours are 9-6 EST, Monday - Friday
2. Must be available for phone calls, instant messaging and video conferencing
