OVERVIEW: MANCON is searching for a Sales Representative for our Business and Industrial Supplies division. The Sales Representative will be responsible for the sale and marketing of packaging supplies; as well as janitorial, office and promotional products. The Sales Representative will work with our inventory and supplier partners to help our customers increase their productivity and maximize their bottom line. MANCON’s product line is designed to meet the growing needs of our commercial customers in packaging, warehouse supplies, janitorial and office supplies. This is primarily a Business Development Opportunity developing new customer relationships as we expand our presence in the marketplace. RESPONSIBILITIES: INITIAL TRAINING IN CUSTOMER SERVICE: • Receive phone calls, emails and faxes from customers • Converse with the customer about various Business and Industrial supplies on the phone and/or at the counter. • Provide customer with written/computer generated quotations. • Follow through with customer quotations and orders. • Provide assistance to Outside Sales reps – pricing, quotes, phone calls, order entry. OUTSIDE SALES RESPONSIBILITIES • Generate sales through direct customer contact • Provide value-added service to new and existing customers • Increase sales and customer-base in the local area • Learn and Maintain current knowledge of our product offering • Presenting the company’s full capabilities to existing and new customers REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Previous Business to Business sales experience • Experience with Microsoft Office programs • Valid Driver's License • Presentation, writing, and verbal communication skills • Current COVID-19 Vaccine PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Experience in packaging, office, paper, and janitorial/sanitary sales PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
