Receiving Specialist – Warehouse

Location: Charlotte, NC 28273
Pay: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Specialist to manage inbound inventory in a small warehouse environment. This role is primarily dedicated to receiving, with a short onboarding period to learn product flow before transitioning fully into the receiving function.

Accuracy is critical — many items are small and look similar but differ by product number, quality, and price.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming shipments against packing slips

• Accurately identify and sort small, similar-looking parts

• Inspect inventory for damage, accuracy, and quality

• Label, organize, and store inbound product correctly

• Maintain inventory records using manual, pen-and-paper processes

• Report discrepancies immediately

Requirements

• Receiving or inventory experience preferred

• Strong attention to detail and organization

• Comfortable with manual documentation (no scanners/WMS)

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs (team lift used when needed)

• Steel-toed shoes required
