    IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST JOB SUMMARY

    The IT Support Specialist works with CMS to acquire and support the IT equipment and services that our clinics need. We treat CMS employees as our customers and provide timely, accurate, and professional issue resolution services. A successful IT Support Specialist excels in a fast-paced, team environment and possesses excellent communication skills. They have a high degree of technical aptitude over a large scope of IT software, hardware, and networking disciplines.Knowledge and understanding of ITIL standards, practices and theories in alignment with IT Service Management (ITSM)

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Application support focused on EHR / EMR platforms

    AD user account management

    Support Office 365 and SharePoint

    Windows OS hardware/software/peripheral support

    LAN - TCP/IP troubleshooting and support

    VOIP Phone systems

    PC Install and Set up

    Supporting Print serves and Multi-function printers within a multi-site enterprise environment

    Hardware procurement and asset management

    Creating and maintaining documentation

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Associates or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience

    1 years of experience working for a health care provider preferred

    2 years of hands-on IT Support experience.

    2 years of experience supporting Microsoft Windows 7/10

    Great customer service skills under tight deadlines

    Knowledge of Virtual Servers (PLUS)

    Understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, Email, HTTP, SSL, VOIP, OSI Model, and TCP/IP protocols and applications

    Proven skills in PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and decommissioning

    Proven ability to work successfully with limited supervision

    May require lifting or carrying desktop computers up to 25 lbs.

    On call responsibilities are required

    Able to work work 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday thru Friday. After hours or weekend support may be needed from time to time for special projects.

    Travel is required
