    MEMBER SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE

    We are currently seeking a Member Services Representative in Plantation, FL. The ideal candidate is energetic, friendly, and has a great phone presence, with the ability to deescalate situations with customers effectively and professionally.

    JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Member Services Representative is responsible for providing effective member service by using in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as communicating effectively with individual members and the team. This role is also interchangeable with the receptionist position as needed.

    • MEMBER CALLS AND EMAILS – Provide courteous and professional member service assistance via emails and phone calls
    • MEMBER SUPPORT TASKS - Process, review, and resolve member questions and complaints, address corrections, and update member and payment information.
    • PROFESSIONAL SERVICES SUPPORT TASKS – Process member payments and cancellations per individual department guidelines and communicate effectively with other departments to resolve member issues.
    • RECEPTION TASKS – Perform all the tasks of the receptionist when needed. Answer and direct all calls, receive and greet visitors, coordinate all deliveries and pickups, and handle all incoming, outgoing, and returned mail.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • One to three years of experience of customer service experience required
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Must be able to work full-time hours onsite

    PROFICIENCIES:

    • COMMUNICATION SKILLS – Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to ability to communicate professionally with internal and external customers via both email and phone.
    • COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE – Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook with proficient data entry skills and the ability to learn and utilize various computer systems.
    • DATA ENTRY SKILLS – Must have strong and precise typing skills along with excellent attention to detail to ensure all information is accurately entered in a timely manner.
    • PROBLEM-SOLVING ABILITIES – Creative thinking to research and solve basic problems and troubleshooting skills to find new ways to solve member problems.
    • TIME MANAGEMENT – Must be able to manage time effectively to ensure efficient completion of all requests and concerns.
