    Job Description

    The ISO Underwriting unit of Verisk Insurance Solutions is hiring a Product Manager as part of the team developing and supporting ISO’s Electronic Rating Content (ERC) product.  As a Product Manager at Verisk, you will be part of our Underwriting Products team, working closely with product managers, IT, customers, marketing and sales to enable success for our customers and drive the ERC product forward.  

    ABOUT THE DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

    • Serves as the focal point for on boarding new customers.  
    • Develop and implement strategies for expanding business opportunities with existing Customers. This includes developing account business plans, identifying sales opportunities, and implementing Customer strategies  
    • Keep management apprised of critical problems and the status of all assigned Customers/Partners.  
    • Support the pre-sales process to evaluate the effort to implement ISO products.  
    • Develop and manage Statements of Work and project scopes  
    • Provide regular reporting of billable hours and services revenue; ensure all targets are achieved  
    • Work with business development teams in the development, management and support of new Partners.  
    • Participate in other duties as assigned by the AMO Director and senior management. 
    • Completes all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan. 
    • Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned.  
    • Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

    About You and How You Can Excel in this Role

    • BS/BA or equivalent  
    • Proven background in effectively managing customer relationships and project teams  
    • Commercial lines admitted business experience required
    • Prior product development/management experience required
    • Highly motivated self starter, with strong analytical, inter-personal and leadership skills  
    • Technical skills which include competency with development environments and insurance software products  
    • Ability to garner attention and convey confidence in ability to teach and coach Customers/Partners  
    • Polished communication, presentation and leaderships qualities  
    • Ability to travel up to 25% for on-site customer visits
