Job Description

Busy Primary Care Medical Practice seeks EMR Specialist to perform Electronic Medical Records System training, support, customization and optimization.

Must have 2 or more years previous experience working as an EMR Specialist preferably with eClinical Works.

Must be mature, reliable, and self-directed. Must be flexible, organized and have good communication skills.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide general user support
• Help with data validation and EMR maintenance
• Work collaboratively to create and update new EMR training materials/templates (checklists, flowcharts, screen shots, training videos etc.)
• Work with Medical Providers (Physicians & Physician Extenders) to customize templates, macros and favorites
• Participate in planning for new EMR updates, features and builds
• Lead project plan including preparing for, developing training for and maintaining new EHR Feature or Services
• Help with EMR optimization to improve workflow and efficiency
• Develop customized reports to improve and manage KPI
