Job Summary:

We are looking for a candidate who is a self-starter to support the growth and development of our expanding client base, with a core skill set in accounting and finance. The staff accountant position will be primarily responsible for assisting our clients with their monthly closing process and day-to-day finance operations. This includes overseeing the accounting function of each client and keeping track of deliverables including month-end closings, financial statement preparation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash flow reports. The role also includes support to senior management for growth and business development projects. This is a perfect role for someone looking for a flexible schedule.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree
• Experience: At least 2+ years of related accounting or finance experience

Skills:

• Experience with a monthly closing process
• Knowledge of cloud accounting systems Quickbooks and other fintech and cloud applications preferred
• Working knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint
• General understanding of GAAP and accounting
