    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The VISA’S NORTH AMERICA PAYMENT FACILITATOR PARTNERSHIP TEAM is charged with forging and maintaining strategic partnerships (which may be global) with emerging payment facilitators to drive sustainable revenue growth while delivering value and serving as SME (Subject Matter Expert) for the North America Market. The group negotiates and implements major strategic commercial deals with clients (1) to enable these partners to utilize an array of Visa products and services and (2) to enable Visa to drive its strategic objectives to deliver products and services.

    The MBA Intern will work closely with internal partners and their clients to ensure appropriate communication flows and sustained business relationships.

    This role is responsible for supporting strategy and client relationships to increase revenues from securing expanded use of Visa products and services with Payment Facilitator clients.

    KEY FUNCTIONS AND DAY-TO-DAY TASKS MAY INCLUDE:

    • Developing account plans to increase sales volume and market share

    • Creating materials that deliver value propositions relevant to industry needs

    • Researching the Payment Facilitator landscape and recommending new and creative approaches to grow the Visa business

    • Contributing to the development of functional strategy

    • Working closely with Product teams, BPO, Visa Consulting & Analytics, Interchange, Compliance and other functions to understand all aspects of Payment Facilitator Model, acceptance and products being sold to clients and contributing to crafting sales messages

    • Actively participating and leading various ad-hoc internal projects as assigned

    • Participating in meetings and training activities

    QUALIFICATIONS

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Students pursuing a MBA Degree with a graduation date between December 2023 - August 2024.

    • Strong communications skills, clear and concise written and spoken communications, and communications that demonstrate professional judgment.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 4-6 years of business experience, with a strong track record of client service, strategic development and execution.

    • Experience at a top-tier management consultancy and/or a solid track-record of operating in an in-house corporate/group strategy role, coupled with managing operations of a function or business unit.

    • Knowledge of payment industry products, services and technologies, eCommerce, or mobile technology.

    • Experience in client-facing roles, having led senior client discussions and solutioning engagements with multiple key stakeholders, ideally including financial institutions (issuers or acquirers), large retailers/merchants, PSPs, technology providers, etc.

    • A proven track record of delivering high impact results working on projects in the areas of strategy, growth initiatives and new market/segment/business strategies

    • Ability to structure and manage complex cross-enterprise projects and processes with multiple stakeholders.

    • The ability to translate analytics, research, client/consumer needs into actionable plans and deliverables.

    • Strong commercial and financial acumen; superior problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.

    • Creativity and resourcefulness to overcome unexpected roadblocks.

    • An ability to challenge preconceived attitudes and behaviors and shape future thinking.

    • Strong organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

    US APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $46/hr which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.     ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

    WORK HOURS: Varies upon the needs of the department. Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

    MENTAL/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
