Job Summary

We are excited to offer a great opportunity to join our team as an Accountant. We are a thriving property management company, with over 25 years of experience in HOA Property Management, seeking a cheerful, dedicated, and energetic individual.

As our Accountant you will play an important role in the day-to-day operations along with your colleagues in the Accounting Department.

Responsibilities

Post charges: UOE charges, fines, and other misc. fees.

Account adjustments: remove and or credit charges as requested.

Reconcile bank statements for operating and reserve accounts.

Process AR refund check requests when necessary.

Update delinquency status and create collection account.

Process monthly statement mailings.

Review proofs and inform PM/Assistants for approval.

Set up association for mailings.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years experience with accounts receivable and/or accounts payable.

Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems

Strong mathematical and analytical skills

Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills

Ability to pass a Background check
