If so, and you have experience in and enjoy workflow coordination and/or supervising staff, this will be a great career move. You will work with super sharp, cool, fun staff and attorneys. This firm values its people and hires intelligent, focused, adaptable, energetic individuals who write well. You will be assisting, backing-up and filling-in for the Paralegal Supervisor, as needed. This will be a great opportunity to develop your management skills.

    You will be hands-on doing billable work (no billable hour requirement).

    Regarding the coordinator aspect of the role, you will communicate with the team, follow the process for assigning work and recommend process improvements, including adaptability for ebbs and flows in workload. Hours: 8:30am-5:30pm. Paralegals typically work 30 minutes to one hour of overtime a day, more or less.

    Paralegal duties – performing legal research and preparing legal memoranda, putting depo binders together (outsourced to third party vendor when needed and you may be asked to manage that relationship as needed), eFiling, cite checking, and proofreading. The ideal candidate will be an outgoing team player, who does not shy away from responsibility, who works well under pressure, and who has a demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and hard-working. Candidates with BS/BA degree strongly preferred. Proficiency in Case Management Tools, Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office programs is required. Ideally 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, some workflow coordination/supervisory skills are a plus. A strong multi-tasker with solid time management skills: ability to prioritize and manage many varied tasks at a time, following through in a timely manner while maintaining a positive attitude will be the best fit.
