  • Responsibilities

     

    • This will be entry-level position for an aggressive person with good mechanical skills.
    • This person would require supervision, but should be able to work well on his own.
    • This position exists because of MPW’s various types of equipment; we need the people trained to meet the demand.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    • Performs PM Inspections.
    • Performs Post Trip Inspections.
    • General repair. Clutch and brake adjustments.
    • Lights and electrical repairs.
    • Tire repair and replacement.
    • May be required to work temporarily at field locations maintaining/repairing equipment.
    • Performs other duties as directed.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    • 2 Years of technical school, or on the job experience preferred.
    • High school education acceptable.
    • Specific exposure to an equipment or maintenance environment.
    • Knowledge of basic hand tools for general equipment repair.
    • Equipment systems experience a plus.
    • Must have effective oral and written communications effective listening skills, and ability to interact with others.
    • Professional oral and written interpersonal communication ideal.
    • 1-3 years of diesel shop experience acceptable.
    • 3 or more years of diesel shop experience preferred.
  • Qualifications
    • Experience working in large, complex integration projects that leverage agile and waterfall processes
    • Designing and developing APIs from specification to implementation in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
    • Serverless development (Lambda)
    • Good understand of Anypoint API Designer, Anypoint Exchange, Anypoint API Portal, Anypoint Studio
    • Familiarity with API Patterns and design including decomposition into reusable components
    • Experience and understanding authentication methods not limited to: Basic, OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect
    • Strong XML experience, including schema design, XPath, XQuery, XSLT
    • Experience in developing, executing and documenting unit tests 
    • Exposure to software engineering best practices and design patterns
    • Adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques utilizing programming skills and contribute to the technical code base including any required documentation
    • Familiarity with testing tools such as SoapUI and Postman
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
    • Experience in working with version control systems and software configuration management tools such as TFS
    • Scripting experience to automate configuration and deployment of objects using WLST and Maven
    • Motivated to learn new technologies such as Cloud ecosystem, API Management

     NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
    • Health and Life Insurance experience is a plus
    • Self-starter with initiative and drive
    • Critical thinking and problem resolution
