McKean is seeking an administrative assistant to support the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) project. As an LCS Work Authorization Planner/Coordinator/Administrative Support, you will execute maintenance related administrative functions in support of Mayport/San Diego based LCS platforms.

The following tasks are representative of those that the contractor will produce and are considered most critical to successful completion of this task. These support requirements include but are not limited to:

 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute planned maintenance on LCS platforms during planned maintenance periods.
• Coordinate performance of Diagnostic, Corrective, Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS) on M&E systems machinery and equipment.
• Coordinate the issuance of WAFs and tag outs and sequential restoration of HM&E equipment with WAF/Tag out Coordinator
• Plan tasks for McKean employees and other subcontractors in coordination with government tasks and personnel

Required Skills

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret Security clearance and be capable of obtaining a Common Access Card
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Three  years of experience with LCS HM&E systems (LCS experience can be from time as LCS crew member or government civilian/ship repair contractor performing maintenance on LCS platforms)
• Experience with Tag Out User's Manual
• Experience with Planned Maintenance System

Required Experience

• Experience during maintenance availabilities with Work Authorization Forms and Tag Outs
• U.S. Navy technician skills and training
• U.S. Navy LCS Class mechanical/electrical/electronic shipboard experience
