McKean Defense is seeking Cybersecurity Engineers to support U.S. Navy programs. Roles and responsibilities include:

- Support Cyber Risk Assessments (CRAs) and Cyber Table Tops (CTTs), Incident response and Forensics, and Penetration testing.

- Support susceptibility scoring efforts as documented in the CRA standard work package.

- Provide input for Vulnerability Assessment Reports (VAR).

- Provide translation between system susceptibilities and potential attacks and corresponding cyber effects to the rest of the CRA team.

- Develop mitigation strategies for identified vulnerabilities.

- Support the Penetration Testing Team in execution of Verification & Validation (V&V), creation of tests plans, execution of penetration tests, and creation of Penetration Test Reports.

• Support Cyber Incident Response Team with providing detection, protection, incident response, and recovery from malware and/or effects on aircraft & weapon systems.

• Support Supply Chain Risk Management Team with planning, testing, and mitigating from cyber supply chain risks.

We are seeking candidates ranging from junior level through to senior. Ideal candidate will be local to NAVAIR Lakehurst, or in the Philadelphia area.

Required Skills

• Demonstrated ability in related cyber and/or engineering discipline.

• Ability to provide technical direction for problem definition, analysis, requirements development, and implementation of complex systems to meet technical requirements.

• Ability to provide recommendations on system development, improvements, and optimization efforts.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Required Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related scientific/technical discipline.

One of the following certifications are required: Security+, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CASP+, or CISSP

Prior experience supporting Incident Response, Cyber Forensics, and/or Penetration Testing efforts a plus.

Candidate must have a DoD Secret Security clearance, or ability to obtain one.
