    CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is seeking an Amphibious Operational Planner to join our dynamic team in Camp Smith, Hawaii.

     

    The candidate will provide coordination, integration, and synchronization planning and execution of technical services and subject matter expertise to MARFORPAC in support of joint and multi-lateral interoperability, and continuity in application of new concepts, technology, training, and associated efforts. Overall objective of this support is to enable the USMC to increases effectiveness and maximizes efficiency within MARFORPAC amphibious planning and operations and across PACOM and component commands amphibious efforts, including development of partner nation capabilities – in regard to the USMC niche – specifically the development of partner nation amphibious forces.

    One (1) Full-Time Equivalent (FTE)

     

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    (1) Provide an ad hoc analytic capability (i.e., subject matter expertise) for current and future and current operations planning efforts and initiatives managed by INDOPACOM. Deliverables include: (a) WRSAI, (b) execution orders, (c) briefs, (d) draft new and update campaign orders, and (e) SOS for specific issues. The scope of said deliverables includes the following:

    a. Analysis on miscellaneous aspects impacting partner nation amphibious forces.

    b. Developing Draft Reports/Documents - Assists the FOPS branch director in the research, development, publication, coordination, and execution of amphibious development plans for selected countries in the USPACOM AOR.

    c. Develop Draft Reports/Documents, Briefs - Research concepts and plans and conduct analysis of factual data and document in prepared reports, briefs and documents in support of event scenario development; create and edit documents, analyze problem areas and recommend feasible solutions in a document. (Maintaining continuity in the realm of Partner Nation Amphibious

    d. Development is essential in order to preserve enduring relationships and increase partner nation capability and capacity.)

    e. Coordinates with appropriate US Embassies/Country Teams, USPACOM, MARFORPAC and other service components and Host Nation planners in the USPACOM AOR as required by USMC. The contractor will develop and synchronize various Southeast Asia nation requests for development of amphibious capabilities into MARFORPAC’s TSCP, and the MARFOPAC TEEP.

    f. Coordinate efforts and synchronize amphibious development activities and execute/refine policies and procedures from multiple DoD, USPACOM, and Combatant

    Command directives.

     

    Required Skills

    • Familiarity with OPLAN/CONPLANs
    • Familiarity/Understanding of USMC MARFORPAC forces

     

    Required Experience

    • Must possess/maintain a favorably adjudicated TS/SCI clearance (or higher)
    • Obtain and maintain favorable suitability under Code of Federal Regulations OR Common Access Card (CAC) equivalent
    • Compliant with FAR 52.204-2 and Security Agreement (DD Form 441)
    • Mid-Level: Six + years of experience and a BA/BS is required, MA/MS degree preferred.
    • Senior-Level: Fifteen (15) years of experience and a MA/MS degree.
    • Attended Professional Military Education appropriate to rank at time of separation or retirement from the uniformed service.
    • School of Advanced Warfighting preferred.
    • Experience on a 3 Star or 4 Star staff is desired.
