    Summary

    At McMillan Law Firm the Receptionist position is responsible for greeting visitors, delivering exceptional customer, answering calls, and fielding them accordingly. Will address visitor questions and needs. Offer administrative support across the firm., and sort/distribute mail all while providing an overall welcoming environment in a timely, professional, and safe manner. This position demonstrates proficient use of computer hardware and software, telecommunication, and other office equipment and the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.

    Roles & Responsibilities

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

    · Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location

    · Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules appointments

    · Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items

    · Performs basic filing, recordkeeping, administrative, and clerical support tasks

    · Maintain acceptable lobby, breakroom, and conference room(s)

    · Maintain break room supplies, office supplies, refreshments, etc. stock accordingly

    · All other duties as assigned

    Required Skills/Abilities

    · Excellent verbal communication skills.

    · Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

    · Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.

    · Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

    Qualifications (knowledge, skills, and abilities)

    · High School Diploma or equivalent

    · Two (2) year’s experience in an office setting

    · Microsoft Office experience at a beginner level

    · Bilingual in Spanish

    Preferred Skills

    · Experience with multi-line phone system

    · Legal software and terminology
