Job Description

The MECM Administrator will support the organization through patch management, client imaging, inventory/reporting, and application deployments through MECM. The candidate will also be required to deploy and implement enhancements that will improve the reliability, maintainability, and performance of the MECM systems. Responsibilities include:

• Maintain client images and task sequences
• Deploy software, patches, and updates using MECM
• Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
• Monitor patch releases and develop patch installation strategies for servers and clients
• Perform general administration duties in Active Directory environment
• Provide a point of escalation and support to the Help Desk and IT teams
• Works side by side with other system administrators and IT teams
• Support user questions, problems, and needs with prompt and courteous attention
• MDT integrations with MECM and utilizing to improve imaging processes
• Patching of Devices – SCCM Admin
• Occasional off-hours support is required

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred
• 3-5 years’ experience is preferred
• Proficient with MECM patch management, inventory management, operating system deployment
• Experience with scripting languages to automate tasks (i.e. PowerShell, VBScript, Batch Files)
