Seeking a professional FIELD SALES REPRESENTATIVE servicing accounts in the Southern California area. This is for a leading distributor of industrial fabrics in the United States.
DIRECT HIRE - FULL TIME - MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL AS NEEDED
LOCATION: Los Angeles area based (Office in City of Industry) - Territory can cover from Bakersfield down to San Diego
SALARY: depending on experience - $65K-95K on a base.
Top of the line benefits. There is also a quarterly commission, company car, phone and laptop.

- Industrial packaging
- Building products
- Automotive
- Filtration
- Furniture
- Mattress manufacturing
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Service existing customers and develop new product placements.
- Develop trusting customer relationships.
- Research potential new customers and focus on securing customers with the highest sales potential.
- Provide market research as needed based upon management initiatives.
- Successfully execute sales strategy in various industries - Report progress to management.
- Average order size $2,500
- Manage multiple accounts/large territory
- Qualify new business opportunities via ‘warm’ calls
- Boots on the ground sales—meeting customers in production/manufacturing facilities where our products are used
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Qualified applicants must have successful sales experience in one of the markets listed above.
- The position has an education requirement of a BS or BA, and 5 to 7 years of business-to-business sales experience.
- Overnight travel is required up to 30%.
- 2+ years sales experience in outside sales role
- Bilingual / Speaks Spanish
- Can travel into Mexico for sales (this would be a plus)
- Comfortable selling commodity products (textiles)
