Job Description

MDV-SEIA is currently seeking an energetic, engaging student to join our team. Your main responsibilities will be related to marketing, communications, planning and fundraising for Solar Focus, the premier solar industry conference in the region. Solar Focus takes place November 7 - 8, and will have over three hundred attendees, including renewable energy business leaders, federal and state lawmakers, and thought-leaders in the industry.

You will report directly to MDV-SEIA’s Manager of Policy and Operations, and work closely with the Executive Director and Board Members. This is a part-time position that will provide great networking opportunities as you seek post-undergrad or post-graduate employment. Work hours will be structured to meet the individual needs. We are seeking to fill immediately and for the long-term.

Responsibilities: Work may include, but is not limited to:

• Working on social and digital media, press relations and marketing projects
• Event planning and management
• Sponsor engagement and recruitment
• Assisting in member services, CRM database initiatives, business development, event logistics, and marketing
