    Job Description

     

    MDVIP is actively seeking a Healthcare Business Development Manager to join our organization! The role is responsible for enabling effective and prosperous practices by cultivating the relationship between the organization and the affiliated physicians within a designated territory.  This role is also responsible for maximum membership renewal (retention) and community joiner (growth), as well as general practice success and profitability. This position is a field-based role with up to 80% substantial travel within the territory.  The Manager serves as liaison between affiliated physician practices and MDVIP corporate departments and is the affiliated physician’s primary point of contact. 

    The successful candidate works independently to achieve goals and expectations, while consistently tracking and reporting progress.  Demonstrates initiative and is confident to make decisions.  Adjusts quickly to changing conditions and identifies practical solutions to resolve issues.  The responsibilities are broad in scope, encompassing a wide variety of activities requiring rapid shifts in priorities. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Conducts regular physician office site visits, demonstrating good judgment to determine practice needs. More frequent visitation and contact may be needed based on practice assessment.
    • Maintains ongoing communication and support between visits with physician and staff through email and/or telephone and resolves queries to ensure service excellence.
    • Works with affiliates to ensure expectations for the MDVIP model are met through deploying various tools and programs to enhance practice growth.
    • Delivers engaging and practiced trainings and workshops utilizing the company created training materials.  Conveys consistent message to all offices that is aligned with the department message. 
    • Communicates new corporate initiatives, prepares and delivers monthly Regional Updates to affiliates and staff to ensure communication of new/enhanced support services provided by MDVIP such as medical initiatives, benefits of membership and practice management tools.
    • Reviews company reports and updates to maintain and build business knowledge base and communicate up-to-date information to affiliated practices.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:   

    BA degree or higher with degree in business administration, marketing or management and requires a minimum of three years related work experience including account management, marketing, sales, customer service, practice management, training, or clinical work. 

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Conducts professional, compelling, and engaging educational and training workshops and/or presentations (formal and informal).

    • Ability to establish credibility with physician and staff and sell ideas/concepts for a win-win result.

    • Prior experience interfacing with physicians in a professional capacity is highly desired.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and various other programs
