MEBULBS is looking for someone to join our Customer Service Team as a Credit Specialist. MEBULBS with over 48 years in business is located in Fargo, ND, and is a division of PQL, Inc., a nationwide distributor in the exciting and growing LED commercial lighting industry.

This is a full-time, on-site position. Ideal candidates will exhibit professionalism, a desire for excellence, a strong work ethic and interest in learning and problem solving.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Makes collection calls on past due accounts

· Takes incoming calls from both sales reps and customers concerning their accounts

· Obtains and mails or emails invoice copies for customers, as requested.

· Processes daily credit card deposits.

· Researches and processes customer claims of invoice payment.

· Researches and processes chargebacks, returns, and bad checks.

· Locates checks for accounting when they cannot find accounts to apply them too.

· Assists with related special projects, as required.

· Works with collection agencies and is back up for writing of bad debts

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

· High School Graduate /Some credit experience

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office with intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills required

· Ability to easily navigate technology platforms and systems
