About Us:
We are a direct hire/permanent placement partner for this prominent Acute Care health system in New Jersey. They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lab Manager to oversee their laboratory operations. Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Management: Provide leadership and direction to the laboratory staff, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
• Staff Supervision: Supervise, train, and evaluate laboratory personnel, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring adherence to protocols and procedures.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure accuracy, precision, and reliability of laboratory tests and results.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory, ordering, and supply chain management to ensure adequate stock levels and proper functioning of the laboratory.
• Compliance & Regulations: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards, including CLIA, OSHA, and state/federal regulations.
• Instrumentation Maintenance: Manage and coordinate maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing the laboratory budget, optimizing resources while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to facilitate interdisciplinary patient care.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in medical technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, biology, chemistry or a related field.
• Current certification (e.g., ASCP) as a Medical Technologist or equivalent prefered
• Minimum of 5years of progressive experience in a clinical laboratory setting, preferably with supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, instrumentation, and quality control.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in relevant computer applications and laboratory information systems.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
