    Job Summary

    CereCore is seeking to hire a MEDITECH Expanse Analyst (ED/EDM) to join our team remotely, with minimal travel (potentially one trip per year, based on business needs). The ideal candidate will have strong MEDITECH Expanse ED/EDM experience, with expertise in build, testing, and ongoing support of Emergency Department applications. Clinical background (nursing or provider) is highly preferred.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide advanced build, testing, and support for MEDITECH Expanse ED/EDM applications, including workflows for emergency department clinicians.
    • Collaborate with providers, nurses, and operational stakeholders to ensure optimized ED/EDM workflows that meet clinical and business needs.
    • Assimilate feedback from clients and actively drive process improvement and culture change as approved by leadership.
    • Use professional knowledge and system expertise to advise clients on best practices and optimal ED/EDM workflows.
    • Document and develop project deliverables for both internal and external utilization.
    • Provide peer-to-peer knowledge transfer, mentoring, and training within project teams.
    • Manage client communication to clarify timelines, risks/issues, commitments, and best practices.
    • Independently monitor and ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality of deliverables.
    • Contribute to strategic planning and project scope development by leveraging ED/EDM subject matter expertise.
    • Incorporate lessons learned into methodologies, driving continuous improvement.

    Position Requirements

    • 7+ years of experience with MEDITECH applications, with deep expertise in Expanse EDM/ED build, testing, and support.
    • Proven ability to design, configure, and optimize ED/EDM workflows for emergency department clinicians (nursing and/or providers).
    • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to translate technical workflows into user-friendly guidance.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).
    • Strong organizational and documentation skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or within a collaborative team.
    • Experience coaching peers and guiding technical/functional project deliverables.
    • Professional demeanor, adaptability, and customer service orientation.
    • Ability to quickly learn new technologies, methods, and processes.
    • Respect for diversity of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Clinical experience in nursing or emergency medicine (RN, NP, PA, MD, or equivalent background).
    • Prior experience with MEDITECH Expanse implementations or optimizations in the Emergency Department setting.

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Systems, Computer Science, Nursing, or related field highly preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Advanced degree or clinical licensure (RN, NP, PA, MD) preferred.
