    Job Summary

    CereCore is seeking to hire a MEDITECH Expanse Analyst – PCS to join our team remotely, with minimal travel (potentially one trip per year, based on business needs). This role will be part of the HCA MEDITECH Expanse implementation and will be primarily focused on charge code standardization within the PCS module, including charge linkage to the Emergency Department (ED).

    The ideal candidate will bring strong MEDITECH Expanse PCS experience, with hands-on expertise in build, testing, optimization, and ongoing support, and a deep understanding of how charge capture workflows integrate with clinical and operational processes.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide advanced build, testing, and support for MEDITECH Expanse PCS, with a primary focus on charge code standardization and ED charge linkage.
    • Design, configure, and optimize PCS workflows to ensure accurate and consistent charge capture across clinical areas.
    • Collaborate closely with clinical, revenue cycle, and operational stakeholders to align PCS charge workflows with enterprise standards and best practices.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert for PCS charge-related functionality, advising clients on system capabilities, configuration options, and workflow optimization.
    • Assimilate client feedback and proactively drive process improvement and standardization efforts as approved by leadership.
    • Document and develop project deliverables for both internal and external use, including build documentation, workflow diagrams, and testing artifacts.
    • Provide peer-to-peer knowledge transfer, mentoring, and training to project team members.
    • Manage client communication to clearly articulate timelines, risks/issues, dependencies, and best practices.
    • Independently monitor and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and quality of assigned deliverables.
    • Contribute to strategic planning and project scope development by leveraging PCS and charge capture expertise.
    • Incorporate lessons learned into methodologies and tools to support continuous improvement.

    Position Requirements

    • 7+ years of experience with MEDITECH applications, with deep expertise in MEDITECH Expanse PCS build, testing, and support.
    • Strong experience with charge capture, charge code standardization, and charge linkage, including integration with Emergency Department workflows.
    • Demonstrated ability to design, configure, and optimize PCS workflows that support accurate billing and downstream revenue cycle processes.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical build and workflows into clear, user-friendly guidance.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).
    • Excellent organizational and documentation skills; ability to manage multiple priorities independently or within a collaborative team environment.
    • Experience coaching peers and guiding technical and functional project deliverables.
    • Professional demeanor with strong adaptability and a customer-service mindset.
    • Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies, tools, and methodologies.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Prior experience with MEDITECH Expanse PCS implementations, standardization initiatives, or optimizations.
    • Experience working on enterprise-wide charge standardization efforts within large healthcare systems.

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Systems, Computer Science, Nursing, or a related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Advanced degree or clinical licensure (RN, NP, PA, MD) preferred.
