    Job Description

    MELE Associates maintains a contract with the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Office of Infrastructure (NA-90), which works to maintain, operate, and modernize NNSA infrastructure to enable program results. NNSA’s infrastructure protects global security through unique capabilities found nowhere else in the United States. These capabilities are threatened by deteriorating facilities built during the Manhattan Project and Cold War eras. MELE Associates requires a Project Controls Analyst to support the Infrastructure Policy and Controls Division (NA-912). The candidate will work extensively with the NA-91 G2 Program Management System (G2), which is the organization’s customized program management system that captures project schedules, budgets, and spending data as well as other program information for infrastructure projects at all NNSA Sites. NA-912 manages a team of developers that continuously update G2 using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Support the management of G2 development on behalf of NA-91:

      • Gather, create, & analyze ideas, requests, problems, and issues that are worth solving through innovation & technology
      • Work with stakeholders and SMEs to formulate system development requirements into workable features for developers
      • Work with multiple development teams to refine features and troubleshoot defects
      • Use economical method to prioritize future development with input from Office Directors & SMEs
      • Develop roadmaps & detailed plans for the executive level for input and to the team level for action
      • Drive Improvements in Performance & Value Delivery through Agile Coaching & Training
    • Conduct detailed reviews and analysis of G2 planning and performance data including cost, schedule, and budget data

    • Reviews large quantities of data (sometimes from disparate sources) and summarizes results and develops analytical charts and graphs in support of program briefings and documents.

    • Conducts program data analysis and synthesizes data.

    • Conducts technical report writing and editing.

    • Support meeting and conference planning and logistics.

    • All other duties as assigned.

     

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Program Management, Public Administration, Public Policy, or related field

    • At least 2-years strong prior project management and/or program management experience

    • Excellent attention to detail

    • Strong analytical skills with ability to collect, synthesize, and interpret data and present findings

    • Database analysis experience

    • Strong Excel skills

    • Ability to work as part of hard working, dynamic team

    • Highly energetic and innovative

    • Strong interest in national security

    • Q-clearance or ability to acquire a Q clearance

    • Familiarity with agile project management principles

     

    PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

    • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Program Management, or related field
    • At least 3-years strong prior project management and/or program management experience
    • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
    • Prior NNSA experience

     

    Location: The position is full time remote work

    Some domestic travel is required for NNSA Site visits and planning meetings.
