Brinkley Brown Mental Wellness PLLC is excited to hire additional therapists across our offices in Apex, Fuquay-Varina, Cary, and Greenville, NC.

We are a well-established, busy private practice providing outpatient therapy to individuals of all ages, couples, and families. Our team includes over 35 providers across disciplines including LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, LCAS, associate-level clinicians, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Psychiatric Physician Assistants, Registered Dietitian, Life Coach, Hypnotherapist, and Music Therapist.

We are currently building our applicant pool and will begin interviewing in mid-March 2026.

Positions Available

Full-Time Therapist (20–25 sessions per week preferred)

Part-Time Therapist (minimum 12 sessions per week)

Who We’re Looking For We welcome applications from:

Associate-Level Clinicians (provisional licenses welcome)

Ideal candidates:

Able to provide in office appointments (hybrid with some telehealth ok)

Enjoy working with diverse populations, ages and diagnoses

Are comfortable managing a consistent outpatient caseload

Value collaboration and team engagement

Are interested in long-term professional growth

Although not required, early morning, evening and weekend availability is highly appreciated and a strong plus, as these are high-demand times for clients.

Have a unique specialty, niche, or clinical focus you are passionate about developing or expanding (Examples of specialties we welcome include but are not limited to): -Trauma-informed therapy / EMDR -Couples and marriage counseling -Play therapy/Pediatric therapy -Substance use treatment/ Addictions -Perinatal/Postnatal mental health -Eating disorders -Faith-based counseling -Neurodivergence-affirming care -Men’s mental health -Adolescent therapy -Bilingual -Sex therapy (perpetrators and/or victims) -Group therapy development

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy

Active North Carolina license (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT) or provisional/associate status

Eligible for insurance credentialing with commercial carriers

Willingness to participate in Medicare credentialing (we accept Medicare; we do not accept Medicaid)

Experience with or willingness to learn SimplePractice EHR

Strong clinical documentation skills. Ability to complete notes promptly.

Ability to complete a minimum of 12 sessions per week (full time 20 to 25 sessions per week preferred)

Compensation This is a 1099 independent contractor position and does not include traditional employment benefits. Providers usually average $60–$117 per 55-minute session, depending on insurance mix and caseload.
