The Opportunity
An arena is really thousands of systems pretending to be one building — HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, controls, life safety — all packed into complex spaces and impossible sequences. Our client, a nationally recognized heavy commercial GC known for the West's most recognizable hospitality, gaming, entertainment, and public projects, is hiring an MEP Superintendent to lead every one of those systems on a large-scale arena in Reno. From rough-in through commissioning and owner turnover, the building's nervous system is yours.

What You'll Do
- Lead all field operations for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and specialty systems
- Coordinate daily activities of MEP subcontractors and trade partners
- Drive pull planning, look-ahead schedules, and coordination meetings; monitor manpower and production rates
- Review drawings, specs, and shop drawings; resolve field conflicts before they hit the schedule
- Oversee inspections, testing, startup, and commissioning
- Lead BIM-driven installation and clash resolution
- Sequence MEP work with structural, architectural, and specialty trades
- Coordinate procurement and delivery of critical equipment and long-lead materials
- Support turnover activities and owner training
- Enforce safety standards through site walks, observations, and subcontractor compliance
What You'll Bring
- 7+ years as an MEP Superintendent, MEP Field Manager, or Senior MEP Foreman in commercial construction
- Large-scale commercial MEP management experience; arena, stadium, hospitality, casino, convention center, airport, healthcare, or entertainment venue work strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, controls, and building automation
- Proven multi-trade coordination in highly complex environments
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- GC-side experience preferred
