    Job Summary

    We are seeking a skilled MES Systems Engineer to support the implementation, configuration, and integration of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role focuses on system connectivity, interface development, and ongoing technical support to ensure reliable and compliant operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Install, configure, and maintain MES applications within Windows Server environments
    • Support and troubleshoot integrations between MES and enterprise/control systems, including ERP, SCADA, and PLCs
    • Configure and maintain system interfaces using industrial communication technologies such as OPC UA, MQTT, REST APIs, and Web Services
    • Provide Tier 2/3 technical support, including root cause analysis and issue resolution
    • Execute and support interface testing, commissioning, and validation activities in alignment with GMP requirements
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Automation, IT, Quality, and Manufacturing
    • Assist in system documentation, including configuration specifications, SOPs, and validation deliverables
    • Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
    • Hands-on experience or familiarity with MES platforms such as PharmaSuite, Syncade, or PAS-X
    • Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols (OPC UA, MQTT, REST APIs, Web Services)
    • Experience with Windows Server environments and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL)
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences manufacturing environments (GMP-regulated)
    • Exposure to system validation and CSV (Computer System Validation) processes
    • Familiarity with ISA-95 integration concepts
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
