ONLY APPLY VIA THIS JOB POST (you will be automatically disqualified if instructions are not followed) We’re seeking a skilled and experienced paralegal in New Jersey Divorce & Family Law to support our growing legal team. The ideal candidate for this position will use their work experience and organizational skills to prepare and maintain legal documents, file motions, interview clients, and conduct legal research. If you want to fill an invaluable position at a firm and love helping others, apply today. *Must live in New Jersey and have experience with NJ Family Law Cases to apply Responsibilities: • Assist lawyers in preparing for trial by preparing and organizing exhibits, conducting legal research, and organizing and coordinating witnesses • Prepare legal documentation, pleadings, and correspondence, including interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, complaints, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits • Draft subpoenas and coordinate with process servers • Conduct interviews with clients to gather information about their legal issues • Organize our case filing systems to ensure all documents are properly sorted and easy to locate • Draft and analyze Case Information Statements, Propound & Answer Discovery, Draft FM and FD Motions, and Client Certifications • Interact and communicate professionally with opposing counsel, court staff, and supervising attorney. • Perform other administrative duties as needed Qualifications: • 3+ years of legal service experience under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting • ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor’s degree desired • Must have strong interpersonal skills and talent for writing and grammar • Candidates should possess high-level organizational skills and time-management skills • Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program is strongly preferred Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 total compensation OTE
