    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, but other duties may be assigned):

    • As a highly visible operational role, you will develop and implement financial strategies to fuel MFUSED's growth and success in the dynamic Cannabis industry.
    • Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes with a keen focus on optimizing resources and achieving excellence.
    • Be the strategic architect of timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis, providing actionable insights that steer our company's trajectory, presented regularly to internal stakeholders, founders and external partners.
    • Develop & maintain financial models/applications to automate and streamline business processes while allowing comprehensive insight into the business.
    • Mentor and lead a dynamic finance team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
    • Collaborate seamlessly with the executive leadership team across functions to ensure financial alignment with our mission and vision.
    • Oversee the budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to create and monitor budgets that optimize resource allocation and support strategic initiatives.
    • Lead cash flow management, optimizing working capital, liquidity, and capital allocation to support ongoing operations and future growth.
    • Lead Cost Accounting workstreams to drive favorable profit margins.
    • Lead Enterprise Spend Management initiatives including Delegation of Authority, Procurement approvals, Expense Policies and Commission Reconciliation.
    • Manage all Banking relationships.
    • Oversee working capital strategy of A/R, A/P and Inventory levels.
    • Ensure 100% financial regulatory compliance and work with IT to combat cyber fraud
    • Conduct detailed financial modeling and scenario analysis to assess potential investments and cost-saving initiatives.
    • Champion compliance with financial regulations and industry-specific reporting requirements.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Directly lead and inspire the finance team located in multiple offices throughout the company; including accountants, bookkeepers, controller, analysts, and support staff.

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

    • CPA, CFA or CMA certification is a distinct advantage.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field is essential; an MBA is highly advantageous.
    • A track record of at least 7 years of progressive financial leadership, with a minimum of 3 years in senior management roles.
    • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis.
    • Experience with investor relations, fundraising, investor financing, M&A and capital markets is a significant asset.
    • Proven experience in financial management within the Cannabis industry is a significant asset.

    COMPETENCIES (SKILLS AND ABILITIES):

    • Exhibit profound financial acumen, with a mastery of financial modeling, analysis, and risk management.

    • Demonstrate exceptional leadership and team-building skills, propelling your team and our company toward greatness.

    • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools is second nature to you.

    • Possess extensive knowledge of Cannabis industry financial regulations and best practices (include tax).

    • Communicate complex financial information with eloquence and precision.

    • Adapt with agility to an ever-changing industry landscape, providing the strategic financial guidance that sets us apart.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    • This role is office-based with standard office hours.
    • Occasional travel may be required.
