  • Responsibilities

    Surveyors in the Washington, DC Metropolitan areas are responsible for providing precise and prompt volume estimates for household goods shipments. They play a crucial role in educating customers about the moving process and in establishing expectations that contribute to ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: • Performs on-time, on-site surveys, and accurate written estimates to prospective customers who are planning to move • Adheres to company pricing guidelines and standards • Networks and markets company services throughout the assigned territory, which includes involvement in lead-developing and networking organizations • Continually develops, creates, and manages a robust sales pipeline • Meets, or beats performance standards and objectives • Follows up consistently with all prospects until decisions are made • Submits paperwork in a complete and timely manner to the assigned Sales Coordinator • Remains in contact with customers to help support service needs, answer questions, or resolve issues throughout the relocation process Qualifications: • Professionals who are self-motivated with the ability to produce • The ability to prospect new clients and lines of business • Prior sales experience is desired, training is available • High energy, positive attitude with a strong work ethic • Good communication presentation skills • High School Diploma or equivalent • Must be respectful, honest, and disciplined • Must successfully pass a criminal background investigation and pre-employment drug test • 1 year of sales experience is preferred but not required. Will train motivated people who possess an acumen for sales Compensation: $38,000 - $42,000 yearly
