    We are seeking individuals to fulfill the role of Certified Medication Aide in a Full-Time, Part-Time and as-needed PRN. Certified Medication Aides will perform duties that include preparation and administration of medications to residents. Documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Communicate professionally and effectively with residents, families, teammates and supervisor. Work closely with the other clinical teammates to ensure residents needs and preferences are met.

    Location: Fort Worth, TX

    Current Incentives: Shift bonuses, paid time off after 30 days

    $750 sign-on bonus! 1st payment of $150 to be made upon completion of training. $150 after 30 days of employment, $200 after 60 days of employment, and $250 after 90 days of employment.

    Schedule: 10pm-6am every Saturday & Sunday

    Education Requirements: Certified Medication Aides must be current with both their Medication Aide License as well as their CNA License

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and administer medications per physician orders and in accordance with federal/state regulations and organization policies and procedures
    • Perform vital signs as assigned and document in EHR
    • Communicate any reported/observed condition changes to charge nurse and document in EHR
    • Promote resident independence
    • Interpersonal skills to interact with teammates, residents and guests in a pleasant manner
    • Perform daily care per the resident’s care plan, observed needs, and within regulations and facility standards of care
    • Monitor and assist with ordering and care of resident’s supplies and prescriptions
    • Recognize, respond, and make prompt and accurate judgments with regard to resident care needs
    • Maintain the resident’s environment in a safe and tidy manner, including adherence to infection control practices
    • Establish and encourage an atmosphere of optimism, warmth, and interest in residents; activity preferences and needs
