The Rivers at Maryland Farms is a dedicated and compassionate community that provides high-quality care and support to seniors in the Brentwood area. We are currently seeking caring and attentive individuals to join our team as Assisted Living Dining Room Servers, helping to ensure our residents' dining experiences are enjoyable and fulfilling.
Job Description:
As an Assisted Living Dining Room Server at The Rivers at Maryland Farms, you will be an essential part of our residents' daily lives. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming and assisting residents and their families with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Taking meal orders and accommodating any special dietary needs or preferences.
- Serving meals in a courteous and respectful manner.
- Providing assistance with residents' dining needs, including cutting food, pouring beverages, and offering utensils.
- Maintaining a clean and organized dining area, including setting up and clearing tables.
- Engaging in conversation with residents and helping create a pleasant dining atmosphere.
- Assisting in the preparation and setup for special events or gatherings in the dining room.
- Collaborating with the kitchen and dietary staff to ensure residents' dietary requirements are met.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
- Compassionate and patient attitude with a genuine desire to enhance residents' lives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with seniors in a respectful and empathetic manner.
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
