2nd shift - Mon-Thu (3:30pm to 2am) - Must be able to train on 1st shift for 2-4 weeks
Description:
The MIG Welder/Assembler will assist in the assembly of enclosure systems. This will require knowledge and understanding of bare wire MIG welding, reading a tape measure, and blueprints.
Requirements:
Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints (test will be required)
Ability to accurately read and interpret a tape measure (test will be required).
Ability to pass a bare wire MIG weld test (horizontal and vertical)
Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
Ability to lift and maneuver metal components a minimum of 50 lbs
Flexibility to work in other related departments as required.
Some overhead crane experience is a plus.
Job Duties:
Read and work off blueprints
Follow written and verbal work instructions
Lift and maneuver metal components a minimum of 50 lbs.
Read and interpret a basic tape measure
Proficient use of basic hand tools such as grinder, cut-off wheel, and magnetic drill.
Assemble large metal enclosures.
MIG tack Weld when needed
