    Position Overview

    We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented welder to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will perform high-quality welds on metal components, follow production specifications, and help ensure finished products meet safety, quality, and performance standards.     Responsibilities

    • Perform welding operations on a variety of metal materials and assemblies according to job specifications.
    • Set up welding equipment, select appropriate tools, and adjust machine settings as needed.
    • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and weld symbols.
    • Inspect completed welds for accuracy, quality, and compliance with requirements.
    • Perform measurements and fit-up tasks to ensure proper alignment and assembly.
    • Maintain welding equipment and report any mechanical or safety concerns promptly.
    • Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and workplace guidelines.
    • Work collaboratively with production, fabrication, and quality teams to meet deadlines.
    • Keep work areas organized, clean, and free from hazards.

    Qualifications

    • Previous welding experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or production environment.
    • Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
    • Knowledge of welding techniques, metal properties, and equipment setup.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
    • Ability to use measuring tools and basic hand tools accurately.
    • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
    • Ability to follow safety rules and wear required personal protective equipment.
    • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials, and perform repetitive tasks as needed.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Formal welding training or certification.
    • Experience with fabrication, assembly, or metal finishing.
    • Familiarity with production schedules and lean manufacturing practices.
    • Experience inspecting welds for quality and conformance.
