Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and skilled MIG Welder to join our growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will weld metal components, inspect completed welds, and ensure all work meets quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate has previous MIG welding experience, takes pride in producing high-quality work, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Schedule: Monday-Thursday | Four 10-Hour Shifts
Overtime: Fridays as needed
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on carbon steel and other metals using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
- Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions as required
- Set up, adjust, and maintain welding equipment for optimal performance
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and welding specifications
- Measure, align, and fit materials prior to welding using measuring tools and fixtures
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Operate grinders, plasma cutters, and other hand tools to prepare and finish materials
- Identify and repair welding defects when necessary
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and quality procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals
- Work overtime as needed to support production demands
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of MIG welding experience or completion of a welding program
- Experience with Pulse MIG welding preferred
- Ability to weld consistently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings preferred
- Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and squares
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Reliable attendance and strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
