Mike’s Organic Warehouse Crew Member
Responsibilities:
Receiving and accounting for all afternoon food deliveries (2-5pm) at our warehouse location in stamford including but not limited to: accurately counting/receiving product, stocking/rotating product, analyzing quality of incoming product and refusing/requesting credit for inferior product. Maintaining a clean, organized, dated and labeled warehouse. Maintain an accurate on-hand inventory at all times. Account for shrink and loss.
At/around 5pm; communicating with the store through a variety of methods to understand what product is needed at the store.
Deliver (via Mike’s Organic Van) all product to the retail store
Per direction from the retail store Manager on Duty, stock, rotate and replenish all product in a manner consistent with the brand image, quality control and merchandising schemes in use at the time.
Break down all boxes, shipping containers and the like and place them in either recycling or garbage bins accordingly.
Return the Mike’s Organic Van to the stamford warehouse by 7pm.
Position Requirements:
Detailed attention to numbers accuracy
Timely attention to work and job time deadlines
Ability to stoop, stand, lift 50 pounds, operate a manual pallet jack
A friendly, proactive, positive, team-centric demeanor
Hours: 3 weekdays plus one weekend day, 2-730pm
Pay: to be discussed based on experience and qualifications + 20% off at Mike’s Organic + PTO accrual per company guidelines
