STAFF ACCOUNTANT LOCATION: Dallas, TX - Corporate HQ POSITION TYPE: Full-time COMPENSATION: $55,000 - $60,000 annually DOE

MINT DENTISTRY is one of the fastest growing dental companies in the United States and is looking for a motivated STAFF ACCOUNTANT to join our team! This role will be responsible for supporting various corporate accounting activities to include month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, preparation of financial statements, preparing/reviewing/posting of journal entries, account reconciliation, accounts payable & receivable, and additional duties as needed. The Staff Accountant role is a hands-on position requiring an acute attention to detail, the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment, manage multiple concurrent projects, and adhere to tight deadlines.

THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT'S RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Working closely with the Accounting Department to assist the Controller in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and reporting.
• Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
• Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
• Oversee the maintenance of bank accounts, subsidiary accounts, and cash accounts to ensure operational efficiency.
• Maintain general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.
• Prepare, review, and post Journal Entries to the General Ledger with limited supervision.
• Summarize financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
• Perform month-end close, review journal entries, and reconcile accounts
• Work closely with various departments to assist with budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Assist with various ad-hoc initiatives in support of MINT's continued growth
• Additional duties as needed

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field is required
• Minimum of 3+ years of progressive, well-rounded accounting experience
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities required
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) highly preferred
• Experience with NetSuite or similar systems highly preferred
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once
