    Position: MIS IT

    Hours: 40 hours per week

    Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and proactive MIS/IT Specialist to support and manage the company’s IT infrastructure in a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for maintaining IT hardware, systems, and network services, supporting MES (Manufacturing Execution System) operations, and ensuring information security and system reliability across the organization.

    Responsibilities • Maintain and troubleshoot peripheral equipment including printers, PCs, and laptops. • Perform regular inspections and upkeep of the server room. • Support and maintain PBX systems, surveillance systems, and door access control systems. • Provide first-line technical support for MES system-related issues on the shop floor. • Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new systems and IT upgrades. • Collaborate with departments to align IT solutions with operational goals. • Manage server maintenance, user accounts, and ensure proper data backup and recovery procedures are in place. • Maintain documentation of IT systems, support cases, and asset records.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, MIS, Computer Science, or related field. • 2+ years of IT experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. • Experience supporting MES or production IT systems is highly preferred. • Strong knowledge of computer networks, Windows OS, server management, and security practices. • Familiarity with IT infrastructure in manufacturing environments, including shop floor support. • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. • Good communication and teamwork abilities. • Fluency in Mandarin is strongly preferred due to coordination with Mandarin-speaking teams.
