MIS Operations & Network Administrator
Position Summary
The MIS Operations & Network Administrator supports the day-to-day operation of enterprise systems, reporting, and infrastructure for a growing organization. This role ensures system reliability, supports business users, and assists with system enhancements, reporting, and disaster recovery activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and support daily system processing and reporting activities
- Troubleshoot system, application, and user issues; research and resolve errors
- Develop and maintain basic system scripts, reports, and database queries
- Assist with testing and implementation of system upgrades and new releases
- Support automated reporting, document generation, and archival processes
- Maintain system logs, backups, and recovery procedures
- Provide end-user support for productivity tools and virtual/remote desktop environments
- Assist with disaster recovery planning, testing, and documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support system performance
- Serve as backup to MIS leadership as needed
Qualifications
- Experience supporting enterprise systems and IT operations
- Working knowledge of databases and reporting tools (SQL preferred)
- Familiarity with system administration, backups, and troubleshooting
- Experience supporting end users in a professional environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Experience
- Experience with midrange or enterprise systems
- Exposure to scripting, reporting automation, or document management systems
- Experience supporting virtual desktop or thin-client environments
- Knowledge of disaster recovery best practices
