The Site Manager, the senior manager on our American Fork premises day-to-day, is responsible for all aspects of facility operations including safety, maintenance, manufacturing, quality, environmental, scheduling and shipping.

    Responsibilities:

    Oversee operational strategies to assure company objectives are met in the areas of exceptional operational safety, product quality, productivity, quality assurance, and cost control policies and programs into all manufacturing processes to ensure successful commercialization and scale-up.

    Plan resources for facilities, equipment, materials, technology, and workforce to ensure sufficient manufacturing capacity to support business growth goals.

    Maintain a clean, safe and injury-free work environment by ensuring health and safety procedures are understood and executed by all employees.

    Implement process designs, technologies, and methods that maximize operational efficiency.

    Negotiate contracts and works closely with external contacts such as co-packers, industry partners, landlords, suppliers, shipping, logistics, maintenance, freight, or software vendors.

    Proactively monitor site capacity and collaborates with sister facilities on scheduling optimization to meet internal and external customer on-time-delivery demands.

    Maintain a physical environment that is "tour ready" and complies with, or exceeds, all FDA, QMS, CGMP, OSHA, and health and safety compliance guidelines and requirements.

    Assure an even flow of work through all manufacturing functions in order to meet production goals and minimize unscheduled downtime.

    Ensure predictive and preventive maintenance programs are accomplished and repairs are completed on a timely basis so that production and profitability objectives are met.

    Oversee training, development, recognition, retention, and performance management of the team to maintain highly motivated and engaged employees.

    Qualifications We’re Looking For:

    Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or industrial Engineering, or Business Management.

    A minimum of 6 years’ experience (3 in a people management role) in manufacturing operations, preferably in the supplements or food industry.

    Experience in management of warehouse, facilities, manufacturing, quality, safety, food sanitation practices and distribution processes.

    Demonstrated continuous improvement project delivery background.

    Experience in ERP and other data systems (Acumatica software preferred), and materials management, from planning through purchasing.

    Proven leadership abilities in verbal and presentation skills to effectively communicate goals and vision to staff and top leadership.

    Organized with the ability to work on and manage multiple projects.

    Ability to influence and make recommendations at all levels.
