JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a Senior RF DVT engineer with hands-on experience in RF measurements and
test automation development using Python. This engineer will be responsible for developing
and performing RF chip validation/characterization on bench.
The engineer shall assist in the design verification (DV), validation of the beamforming (DBF)
and RF chips
The Services may include the following:
• Develop RF DVT test scripts in Python following coding guidelines such as adding
descriptive comments and using naming conventions for clear code readability
• Execute RF DVT scripts, collect measurements from test equipment or DUT
• Update existing Python scripts to be able to extend test coverage
• Use Git or other source control tools to check-in/check-out updated code
• Setup RF test benches to collect RF test measurements in the lab
• Review test results with the team members
• Provide weekly status report to the team members
Deliverables to be provided by Contractor personnel may include the following: Python
APIs/functions for RF DVT such as DUT control, test equipment control, post processing, test
measurement data dump, test reports.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
• 7+ years of experience in RF testing on lab bench for high volume RF products
• Strong hands-on experience in RF parametric measurements such as IP3, NF, Phase Noise etc
• Strong working knowledge of RF test equipment (Vector Signal Analyzer, Spectrum
Analyzer and Signal Generators)
• Experience in Tx/Rx radio performance characterization
• Experience in developing Python test automation (DUT, test equipment control, PVT
sweeps), SCPI commands interface automation for Keysight and R&S signal generators and
spectrum analyzers
• Experience in test data analysis tools (JMP or others)
• Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills
