We are seeking an experienced Mine Safety Coordinator to support mining operations in Kermit, Texas. This is a field-based role responsible for monitoring safety practices, supporting compliance efforts, and promoting a strong safety culture across mining and plant operations.

The Mine Safety Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Safety to implement safety programs, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with regulations established by the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) and TCEQ.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain a strong field presence across mining operations.

Conduct safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.

Monitor safety practices in wet and dry plant processing areas.

Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions.

Support MSHA compliance and regulatory inspections.

Conduct safety training and orientations for employees and contractors.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years safety experience in mining or heavy industry.

Experience in wet and dry plant operations required.

Working knowledge of Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) regulations preferred.

Working knowledge of TCEQ Requirements in an Aggregate atmosphere

Strong communication and leadership skills.

Work Environment

Field-based role within an active mining and processing operation. Work includes exposure to heavy equipment, plant machinery, and outdoor conditions.
