Our client is currently seeking a Marketing Manager to join the Sales & Marketing Division in the Baltimore County, MD area. They are seeking a candidate who has has 10+ years of experience, preferably within Architecture/Engineering, Construction or similar Technical Service industries
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the expansion, improvement, and coordination of the presentation of the company in all formats (electronic, web based, print, and physical).
- Create, analyze and optimize various marketing initiatives and plans designed to meet business objectives of the firm.
- Plan, coordinate and execute industry events and sponsorship opportunities.
- Read and analyze RFPs.
- Coordinate proposal development including hard and soft copy preparation for submission, ensuring compliance with RFP requirements and preparation of submission materials (binders, materials, labels etc.).
- Develop and maintain marketing collateral: case studies, project highlights, proposal templates (introduction/resume), brochures, and qualifications.
- Develop and prepare client presentations.
- Conduct market research on private sector procurement opportunities, teaming partners, competitors and uncover potential prospects to target with marketing efforts.
- Manage company website, social media and other ad networks (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google Ads, Instagram, WordPress, etc.)
- Assist in maintaining the integrity of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database which holds information about accounts, customer contacts, and leads
- Support business development activities, promote public relation efforts, assist with tradeshow preparations and sales meetings; minimal amount of travel is possible.
- Manage external marketing vendor relationships.
- Work closely with Business Development personnel throughout the organization.
- Take an active role in industry networking events to market the firm’s services to potential customers.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
- CPSM (certified professional services marketer) preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience planning, developing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Proven experience in identifying target audiences and creatively devising effective marketing campaigns for the Architecture, Engineering, or Construction industry.
- Experience preparing proposals, qualification packages and presentations.
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral (individual, small group, and large group presentations) and written.
- Thorough working knowledge with MS Office Suite (including PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Proficient in the usage of graphic suites: Corel DRAW, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
- Experience working with HubSpot or other CRM software preferred.
- Proficiency in WordPress. Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics) is a plus.
- A proven track record of vision, creative thinking, and self-direction.
- A strong and proven ability to develop effective working relationships with peers, staff and colleagues throughout the organization.
- A willingness to learn, support the team and always do what is necessary to achieve objectives.
